May 19, 2011 – Hour 2

We recently payed another visit to Ted Wycall, proprietor of Greenbranch Farm in Salisbury, MD, to see what’s changed on the farm now that it’s spring. We saw the cows shifted to fresh pasture, watched the pigs root around for acorns and shrubs, and visited the day-old chicks. Then we sat down in his house, a timber frame structure which he built using wood from his forest, to talk about some of the larger issues facing farmers.
