May 1, 2013 -Segment 1-when we look at the current exhibition and festival at the Creative Alliance, Globe Poster: Not to be Missed! which celebrates the legacy of Globe Poster Printing Corporation, an historic printing company that pressed iconic posters promoting performances of legendary R&B, soul, and jazz artists, including James Brown, B.B. King, and Tina Turner. Our panel includes: Sheila Ross, an original member of The Royalettes; Soul music aficionado Milton Dugger; neo-Soul artist Navasha Daya; R&B vocalist Jonathan Gilmore; and Karen Summerville, Associate Education Director for the Creative Alliance.
