Winfield Parker and the Maryland Traditions Folklife Festival

We turn to the arts with a preview of one of the performances that will be happening at the 6th annual Maryland Traditions Folklife Festival at the Creative Alliance this Saturday, June 4, from noon – 8pm. We speak with: singer and saxophonist Winfield Parker; Michele Stefano, Co-Director of Maryland Traditions, the folklife program of the Maryland State Arts Council and Visiting Assistant Professor in American Studies at UMBC; and Chad Buterbaugh, Co-Director, Maryland Traditions and the Program Director for Folk and Traditions Arts at the Maryland State Arts Council.
