The Phillips are photographers who have captured Baltimore’s African American community and culture since 1946, when Irving Henry Phillips began working as a photographer for the Baltimore Afro-American. With: Webster Phillips III, grandson of photographer Irving Henry Phillips and a photographer himself; and Irving Phillips, Jr., son of photographer Irving Henry Phillips and former staff photographer for The Baltimore Sun.
