The Phillips’: Three Generations of Baltimore Photographers

We hear an archive edition of the Marc Steiner Show as we examine the Baltimore African American experience through the lens of three generations of the Phillips family. The Phillips are photographers who have captured Baltimore’s African American community and culture since 1946, when Irving Henry Phillips began working as a photographer for the Baltimore Afro-American.
