  1. from dave eberhardt on friday, 4/24- (I was there on 4/22- and feel – just so that you know where I am coming from- that Freddy was murdered and that there must be indictments and that progress will be hard when police are an occupying force following orders from capitalist powers- be then Batts, Mosby and Blake.
Congratz to M – best media on Gray events- after 30 minutes some comments (my comments try to deal with the shades of gray- and will, hopefully not seem negative- I still hear too much pie in the sky remarks. I try to be thoughtful and not just talk fast or be boosteristic)
    Still too many cliches.
Megan (who talks too fast) had a good suggestion about lack of structure- I see the need for an umbrella group- kids running the street, or dirt bike guys zooming around do not give much impression of organization. e g “Let’s go shut down 95 south”.
Wish Mark could provide more leadership- more in the way of specific suggestions- maybe re bills in Annapolis- also too much over optimism- Marc thinks something is “bubbling up”. I think the community is too shattered for that.
Rev Heber makes many good points about organization and being there “on the ground, shoulder to shoulder”.

Most of the media in Baltimore is declaring “Van kills criminal”- thanx to Marc for some real media.
after listening to 50 minutes of 2nd half- of prt 2- now getting some more specifics- a civilian review board- Kevin Moore (the cell phone photographer) man who saw that the officers started to kill Freddy BEFORE he got in the van! But the Sun seems to want to say his injuries occurred in the van?
Rev Heber good re pols like Zirkin and Vallario and 17 bills failing in Annapolis- HELLO.
What training is it police are getting?
Fact that Blake and Young and- I predict Mosby- are Uncle Toms- even I, a whitey, can see that. They are bought and sold and should be confronted and disrupted.
Does Marc dare to confront the Mayor?
“We can’t breathe in these communities”. Well said.

  4. david eberhardt says:

concluding remarx- playing “masters of War” by Bob Dylan was sad when you consider what he has beome- a spokesman for AARP- was he ever with us? or just a genius of music?

good remarks re apartheid at end- question is- how to organize the sleepy masses? always a problem- thank you RAY who called in

Leo calls in- what will Marilyn Mosby do? very good question- who confronts her- also what he says about boycotts and convention business- cut off the finance- exactly

Dominique Stevenson of AFSC was arrested- where is Part 1-?

I think the video needs to be emphasized- what the bicycle guys did to Freddy when they tackled him.

Ray says “keep it peaceful”. But does that get results, Ray?? but Ray- there are no Panthers out there at this moment. You don’t have to worry.

But there are few willing even to take militant, non violent, civilly disobedient radical action. Mark should do more to push it, in my opinion. He has the only soap box in the city, media wise- but- also- check our Baltimore’s Real News.
