Can America create a "green collar" economy that could solve the environmental crisis and the financial crisis?

Van Jones thinks so.  In his new book The Green Collar Economy: How One Solution Can Fix Our Two Biggest Problems Van argues that if the U.S. were to become a world leader in meeting the challenges of the environmental crisis, the surge in jobs created by new technologies and green industry would help solve the world financial crisis.   He joined Marc live to discuss the ideas outlined in his new book.

We also explored what this could mean for Baltimore.  Can the green economy help create "green pathways out of poverty"?
