This year’s midterm elections mark the first election since the Supreme Court decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, which allowed corporations and unions to spend unlimited amounts of money on political advertising.  We start off the show today with a discussion with James Browning, Executive Director of the Mid-Atlantic region of Common Cause, to discuss how the new spending has affected campaigns across the country.
