October 13, 2010 – Hour 2

Acclaimed Haitian-American author and MacArthur Fellow Edwidge Danticat joins us again to discuss her newest book, Create Dangerously: The Immigrant Artist at Work. The underlying theme of this powerful book of stories and essays is that true artists must create in spite of potentially hazardous consequences; the drive to create triumphs over all. Danticat is the author of many novels, including The Farming of Bones and Brother, I’m Dying.
