November 28, 2011 – Hour 2

Every year, OSI funds a group of talented community organizers and do-gooders to run year-long projects that focus on making Baltimore a better place to live.  And every year, we bring a few of the Fellows on the Marc Steiner Show to hear about their work and how they hope to transform the city.  This year, we’ll be joined by:

Maya Kosok – Community Outreach Coordinator, who will be working to strengthen ties between urban farmers
La Tasha Vanzie – Consultant, who will be working with EVOKU Actualized Global Leadership Experience (EAGLE), a project designed to train underserved youth to design and implement social entrepreneurial community service projects
Andrew Gaddis – Research Assistant, who will continue his work with the Charm City Clinic, a free community-based health center that he helped to establish in East Baltimore
