November 23, 2009 – Hour 2

Last week, the US Preventitive Services Task Force released a study with recommendations for breast cancer screening that are a marked change from the status quo.  The study has been met with a huge amount of criticism from the medical community, breast cancer advocates, and politicians, as well as the general public.

We discuss breast cancer screening this hour with:

Dr. Jean Warner – Director of the Tyanna O’Brien Center For Women’s Imaging at Mercy Medical Center

Dr. Nagi Khouri – Director of Breast Imaging at Johns Hopkins University Hospital

PJ Hamel – writer and breast cancer survivor
