Education Policy: Less Testing, More Learning In Maryland

We hear the broadcast of “Less Testing, More Learning” panel discussions Marc moderated earlier this month for the Maryland State Education Association at their 2015 Education Policy Forum. We hear from Maryland students and other advocates working on the issue of testing at the state and national level. The students who comprise the first panel are all members of the Montgomery County Public Schools’ Minority Scholars program. With: Anders Alilio, Richard Montgomery High School; Nicolas Ballon, Walter Johnson High School; Melissa Escobar, Richard Montgomery High School; Aryana Jones, Clarksburg High School; and Angie Nseliema, Clarksburg High School.
Then, we hear from: Liz Barrett of the Frederick County Board of Education; Judith Browne Dianis of the Advancement Project; and Monty Neill of FairTest.
