We had a conversation with Meshelle The Indie Mom of Comedy, founder of GOAL Diggers The Sankofa Project, a program focused on connecting inner-city teen girls of African decent to education by introducing them to the study of their ancestry and ethnic identity. Meshelle will be joined by Markia Farmer and Destini Smith, two members of the program who will share the results of their ancestry DNA test results and experience.
