We have a special segment that mixes Art & Politics, as we talk with Bashi Rose, Jared Ball, and Son of Nun, about George Jackson: Releasing the Dragon, a mixtape documentary film to commemorate the life of Black Panther George Jackson, who died in August of 1971. Bashi Rose is Founder of D.R.A.M.A. (Direct Responses Alleviate Misdirected Aggression), videographer/editor at The Real News Network, 2012 OSI Community Fellow, and editor of the film. Son of Nun is a rapper, former Baltimore City school teacher, and co-creator of the film. Dr. Jared Ball is Associate Professor of Media Studies at Morgan State University and Host/Producer at The Real News Network and @imixwhatilike.
