    A national curriculum in itself isn’t bad but not allowing teachers autonomy in their own classrooms is unacceptable. When curriculum is scripted, it’s narrowed and lacks creativity. The US could learn a lesson from Finland; they also have a national curriculum but the difference is that Finland affords its teachers autonomy.

    Regarding a testing moratorium; absolutely and forever. It’s a waste of time, mind and money. Money which could be better spent actually giving it to schools instead of test makers.
