We examine a local issue between two public schools in one Baltimore neighborhood – the Baltimore Montessori charter school and Dallas F. Nicholas Sr. Elementary School, and how it relates to the larger structural issues of the education system in Baltimore. With: Dr. Irma Johnson, adjunct faculty in the Johns Hopkins University School of Education and retired Principal of Dallas F. Nicholas Sr. Elementary School; Dale Hargrave, former President of Greenmount West Community Association; Alison Perkins-Cohen, Executive Director of the Department of New Initiatives for Baltimore City Public Schools; and Dr. Roni Ellington, Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at Morgan State University
