Du Bois’ legacy with Dr. David Levering-Lewis, two-time Pulitzer Prize-winner who is a Julius Silver University Professor and Professor of History at New York University. Levering-Lewis has authored many books, including the two-volume life and times of W.E.B. Du Bois: Biography of a Race, 1868-1919 and The Fight for Equality and the American Century, 1919-1963.
