We are joined by Chris Brown, mother of the Randallstown High School teen killed by a Baltimore County police officer, and Delegate Jill P. Carter of Maryland’s 41st District in Baltimore City, who proposed a House bill that would improve police training and require re-certification for life-saving skills, among other provisions.

    No police officer should ever kill a child. I hope Christopher’s law passes because it is sorely needed. Maryland repealed the death pealty no cop should be able to impose death penalty on the street or the beat with no judge & no jury.

    Yes our tax dollars go to proper training of officers,not uniforms or transportation, but proper training. Would u want an officer to show up at ur door responding to your emergency with proper training or lack of. So if we don’t help put together laws for the safety and well being of our cimunity who will.
