We interview Kareem Samara, a British Palestinian musician and a founding member of Artists For Palestine UK and London Palestine Action. He currently collaborates with Baltimore’s Ryan Harvey, blending American and Arabic protest music, as well as working on his own loop-based exploration of Arabic music using Oud and Percussion.
Kareem Samara will be performing Tuesday night at the Crown at 1910 North Charles Street as part of the Firebrand Records showcase Bmore on Fire, featuring DevRock, Son of Nun, Ryan Harvey, and more.
