November 18, 2009 – Hour 2

This hour, we speak with leading religious and ethical thinker Karen Armstrong.  Formerly a nun, Karen Armstrong has written over twenty books, including A History of God, Through the Narrow Gate, and, most recently, The Case For God.  She joins us this hour to discuss the role of religion in the modern world and her latest project, The Charter for Compassion, an effort to spread compassion across religious lines.
