The Marc Steiner Show

March 18, 2010 – Segment 1

In this week’s installment of Your Money Matters, we speak with Herman Williams, Chairman of the Board of MECU.

Then, art meets social protest as we interview Igor Vamos, who under the name of Mike Bonanno is a leading member of the Yes Men.  The Yes Men are famous for pranks including posing as spokespeople for the WTO, McDonalds, Dow Chemicals, and other companies in stunts designed to expose the hypocrisy of corporate America.

Jenn Lopez, a nursing student at Johns Hopkins and a producer of the Yes Men’s new film “The Yes Men Fix The World,” joins us as well.

Join Mike Bonanno tomorrow night at 7pm at the Senator Theater for a screening of “The Yes Men Fix The World” followed by a Q & A.

  1. I enjoy listening to your show each evening as I drive home from work. This evening’s show brought home to me how desperately we need a strong progressive movement in this country — I am sad to hear of ACORN’s demise and so thrilled to hear about the YES Men.
If you know of any organizations that are located on the Eastern Shore that have a progressive agenda, please let me know.
Please stay on the air and keep up the amazing work that you do.
