City Council Candidates on Improving Transportation in Baltimore

We’re listening back to a panel Marc moderated last week on transportation. It was a forum for City Council candidates called Leadership for Improving Transportation. Sponsored by Transit Choices, Citizens Planning and Housing Association, the Central Maryland Transportation Alliance and A Thousand Friends of Maryland, it brought together candidates for the 1st – 8th Districts.

1st, Southeast Baltimore: It is currently represented by James Kraft, who is not seeking re-election. We were joined by candidates Mark Edelson, Scott Goldman, Matthew McDaniel, and Mark Parker.
2nd, East Baltimore: We were joined by incumbent Brandon Scott and candidate Tony Christian.
3rd, Northeast Baltimore: It is currently represented by Robert Curran. We were joined by candidatesMarques Dent, Ryan Dorsey, and Alicia Joynes.
4th, North Baltimore: We were joined by incumbent Bill Henry.
5th, Northwest Baltimore: We were joined by incumbent Rochelle “Rikki” Spector and candidateDerrick Lennon.
6th, Northwest Baltimore: We were joined by incumbent Sharon Green Middleton.
7th, West Baltimore: It is currently represented by Nick Mosby. We were joined by candidate Shawn Tarrant.
8th, West Baltimore: It is currently represented by Helen Holton, who is not seeking re-election. We were joined by candidates Kristerfer Burnett, Russell Neverdon, and David Maurice Smallwood.
