On Monday night, the Occupy Baltimore encampment at McKeldin Square was raided, the tents dismantled, and the campers dispersed. But the group isn’t finished – they’ve been holding meetings and General Assemblies about next steps for the group. Today we discuss the future of Occupy Baltimore and Occupy movement across the country with:
Sarah van Gelder, Co-founder and editor, YES! Magazine
Cullen Nawalkowsky, Member of media team for Occupy Baltimore and Co-founder and collective member at Red Emmas
Bruce Little, Occupy Wall Street protester

now, we interrupt this broadcast for basketball game
I truly appreciate WEAA expanding the discussion beyond the soundbites on traditional media. This discussion which highlighted both the desire to expand involvement beyond the educated white middle class as well as the recognition that the movement is operating on several vectors including economic disparity and political and legal access (corporate personhood) is important as one thinks about the next stages of the movement.
The show’s participants are eloquent and each express a different perspective.
