We talk to Tom Reiss, who recently won a Pulitzer Prize for  The Black Count: Glory, Revolution, Betrayal, and the Real Count of Monte Cristo. Reiss’s book is the biography of General Alex Dumas, father of the novelist Alexandre Dumas, who is famous for his novels The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers.
