Topics will include: the tendency to make rape culture only about colleges; college campus advocacy and controversies; how federal focus on college campus’s obscures how rape culture impacts those not in college; and look at the cases of Austin Wilkerson and Nate Parker. With: Kalima Young, instructor at Towson University and University of Maryland College Park; and artist and activist Hannah Brancato, co-founder of FORCE: Upsetting Rape Culture, and professor at Maryland Institute College of Art.
