We dealt with issues of schooling, child care, and the politics of funding in Baltimore. With: farmer, educator, and food justice advocate Denzel Mitchell; former City Councilman Carl Stokes, founder of Banneker Blake Academy of Arts and Science; and Jaisal Noor, reporter and producer for The Real News.
I was joined by guest host: Dr. Kimberly Moffitt, Associate Professor of American Studies at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and co-editor of Blackberries and Redbones: Critical Articulations of Black Hair/Body Politics in Africana Communities.
