Then, we have a panel discussion with people from Maryland who travelled to the U.S. Social Forum in Detroit last week. We talk with Ryan Harvey from the Civilian-Soldier Alliance, Maryland Shaw from the Baltimore Algebra Project, and  Dr. Margaret Flowers from Physicians for a National Health Program and Healthcare-Now of Maryland about their experiences at the Forum.

finding your show has been such a breath of fresh air ...maryland born and bred i am ...social activist from age 14 ...lived in baltimore during the don schaeffer days ,,,hung out in fells point ...worked for redcross in the mfume times ... how 'bout dem o's hon ...love naomi klein ...long story how i ended up in the truly awful south ...walked the walk with the first aids walk and lost a wonderful friend to the disease ...will never forget spending hours in tears when the quilt came to town ...from you i learned of the social forum detroit ...iraq vets against the war ...civilian soldiers coalition ...truly fresh air in this dead south
