Youth programs like YouthWorks are helping Baltimore’s kids and teens achieve more. We speak with Donald C. Fry, President and CEO of the Greater Baltimore Committee and Chair of the Hire One Youth Leadership Team; Ernest Dorsey, (IN STUDIO) Assistant Director for Youth Services at the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development; and Karen Sitnick, (PHONE) Director of the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development.Later, we take a further look at the many sides of this subject with Sonja Merchant-JonesChair of The Better Waverly Community Organization; Maia Merchant,  High school student going into Dunbar Junior High who applied for a summer job through Baltimore YouthWorks; and Ralph Moore, Jr.  coordinator for a mentoring program for ex-offenders.
