March 12, 2014 – Segment 2We turn to the Maryland Legislature and look at a bill that would make it a crime to post sexually explicit images on the Internet without the subject’s consent. The bill, known as the “revenge porn” bill, passed unanimously through the Maryland House of Delegates and is moving forward to the Senate.
Guests include: Toni Holness, Public Policy Associate, ACLU of Maryland; Delegate Jon Cardin, who represents Maryland’s District 11; and Annmarie Chiarini, professor of English at a Maryland community college and a victim advocate for the Cyber Civil Rights Initiative (CCRI).
