We begin the show with a reflection on the mass shooting at a Latin night at a gay nightclub, Pulse, in Orlando, Florida. Our guest host for this hour is Kalima Young, instructor at Towson University and University of Maryland College Park. Our panel of guests includes: the Rev. Merrick Moise, ordained minister, writer, community activist, teacher, and one of the first African Americans ordained within the Old Catholic Movement in Baltimore; Laila El-Haddad, freelance journalist, author, blogger, media activist from Gaza City, and co-author of The Gaza Kitchen: A Palestinian Culinary Journey; and Imara Jones, Host of CaffeineTV whose latest written work on Trump and racism was recently featured in The Nation.
