The Marc Steiner Show

May 19, 2010 – Hour 2

We start off the discussion with a look at the Enterprise Women’s Network, an organization that connects students in Baltimore with mentors.
Joining us were:
Kelly Cartales, Vice President and Baltimore Impact Market Leader for  Enterprise Community Partners
Sherry Phillips, a mentor with the Enterprise Women’s Network
Precious Allen, an 8th grade student who has been a mentee in the program for six years
For more information on the Enterprise Women’s Network 10th Anniversary Celebration on May 20th, visit them on the web.

Then, Marc and Anthony McCarthy analyze yesterday’s primary elections.  The big news is that Pennsylvania’s sitting senator Arlen Specter lost the Democratic primary to Representative Joe Sestak.  We look at that race, as well as the elections in Arkansas and Kentucky, to see what they might say about this year’s midterm elections.
