Abdullah, Associate Professor of Middle East History at York University, Toronto; teacher, writer, activist Zein El-Amine, host of the radio show Shay Wa Nana on WPFW, which centers on politics and culture in the Middle East; and Doug Ollivant, Senior Fellow for New America’s Future of War initiative. He’s also a retired Army officer (Lieutenant Colonel), and his last assignment in government was as Director for Iraq at the National Security Council during both the Bush and Obama administrations.
