February 23, 2010 – Segment 3

Last summer, after a shooting at a cookout where twelve people were injured, Rosalind Cauthen was compelled to write her new piece, "We Are Crying Out." The play, which starts its run this weekend at the Theater Project (located at 45 West Preston Street, please follow the link for more details), explores the personal impact of crime on families and communities.

Today, we talk with Rosalind Cauthen, writer and director, Stylz, who plays "Ms. Benny," and Jen Eddington, who plays "Gladys" about the role art can take in social change.
