Special Coverage from the Democratic Convention

We'll be providing live coverage of the Democratic National Convention in Denver from August 25-28th. Center for Emerging Media was selected to be the Maryland member of the State Blogger Corps by the Democratic National Committee, which means that we'll have a seat on the floor with Maryland's delegation at the convention, and access to the entire convention all week! When the vice-presidential candidate is announced, we'll be there. When Obama gives his acceptance speech in the stadium, we'll be there.

 Nightly coverage each evening from 8-11 pm on WEAA 88.9 FM

• Tune in to WEAA each evening for three hours of live coverage hosted by Anthony McCarthy.  Anthony will have a great team of instudio analysts and will be talking to Marc Steiner and Lea Gilmore live from Denver.  Marc and Lea will be presenting interviews and conversations they have taped in Denver as well as conducting live interviews inside and outside the convention.  This is also the place to hear all the most important prime time speeches from Michelle Obama, Barack Obama, the Clinton's, and Obama's running mate.

Marc Steiner Show, Wednesday August 27th at 9 am

• Tune in to WEAA 88.9 FM for a special edition of the Marc Steiner Show live from Denver.  Coming at you from the studios of Colorado Public Radio, Marc Steiner will be speaking with journalists, delegates, politicians, and more for this special live show.  

Anthony McCarthy Show, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday morning at 9 am

•  Anthony McCarthy will be coming at you live each morning and devoting a part of his show to discussing the convention's events from the evening before.

"Beyond the Spin" 7:40 am Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

•  Join us for this short feature each morning as Anthony McCarthy and Marc Steiner have a brief recap on the biggest issues of the convention.

•  This will be a busy week at the CEM blog.  In addition to blog posts from Marc Steiner and Lea Gilmore, we will be welcoming several guests bloggers who will be spending the week sharing their ideas with us.
