Juanita Jackson Mitchell was the first black female to practice law in Maryland. That is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of the extraordinary life this woman led.

That was a great article about Juanita Jackson Mitchell. Before, I didn’t know about her, and didn’t know that she was the first black female to practice law in Maryland. We need to know more about such persons and know our history.
